Told you we were on a shoe a day tip! here at the Blu Mile, we're not just after them hip hop brands oh no-no. Skate Shoes are mainly where its at in my view. I love how skate shoes epitomize the working class really, Vans obviously being in the forefront of this and other brands such as kr3w or etines all offer trainers that are durable yet becoming extremely mainstream and stylish in our time (well the time i've been brought up in). The scene has grown so much all the big brands now have specialised skate division. Check out nike and adidas for instance, they all have there own skate section of footwear.

This moves us nicely onto our shoe of the day... (well more of a collection)

VANS OTW Collection are being released in the fall/winter of this year and are my favourite VANS to date, the simple yet slick design incorporating a converse type sole and the laces i would associate with timbs or docmartens. I think they are just a joy and will definitely be copping these when the fall of 2010 comes around.

These should be available at all good stores. And probably at the vans store http://shop.vans.com/ so keep on the look out for them.
